Monthly minimums

  • Minimum Monthly Fee: Bookkeeping services start at $300 per month.

  • Our pricing is customized to fit your business and takes into consideration factors like the number and type of transactions, the number of accounts, how often services are needed, the time involved, and the overall complexity of your books.

Factors that influence pricing

  • Complexity-Based Pricing: Businesses with more accounts or greater complexity are priced on the higher end, while simpler books with fewer accounts fall on the lower end.

  • Catch Up & Clean-Up Projects: These services are typically billed at higher rates based on the scope of work.

FAQS

  • Bookkeeping is the process of recording financial transactions and preparing financial reports. Accounting is a broader term that encompasses bookkeeping, as well as other tasks such as financial analysis, tax planning, and auditing.

  • We review and record all your business transactions in QuickBooks to generate monthly financial statements, including the Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet.

  • We work with a variety of small businesses.

  • Virtual and online bookkeeping services typically range from $300 to $1,000 per month. The exact cost depends on the size of your business, the number of accounts, and any additional complexities that may require more detailed management.

  • Walkers Bookkeeping Service’s pricing consists of two components: (1) a one-time fixed fee for any initial Set Up, Clean Up, or Catch Up work, and (2) a fixed monthly fee billed on the 1st of each month.

  • Your QuickBooks Online subscription is not included and will be billed to you separately each month. For security reasons, it's essential that you maintain ownership of your own QBO account. This is the only software excluded from our pricing.

  • We currently do not offer payroll or tax services.

Meet the Owner

Seth Walker, bookkeeper and founder of Walkers Bookkeeping Service


I currently live in Montrose, Michigan. I work full-time in non-profit accounting, and my work involves everything from reconciliations to managing accounts payable and receivable, as well as contributing to grant-related accounting projects across multiple organizations.

I’ve always loved problem-solving and working with numbers, and bookkeeping allows me to use that passion to help others. I have professional experience with QuickBooks Online and Sage Intacct, and I’m both an Intuit Trained Bookkeeper and an Intuit Level 1 & 2 Certified ProAdvisor. I’m also in the process of earning my Certified Public Bookkeeper (CPB) License through the National Association of Certified Public Bookkeepers (NACPB).


I started Walkers Bookkeeping Services with one simple goal: to give small business owners peace of mind when it comes to their finances. Most owners would rather spend their time growing their business than worrying about their book, that’s where I come in. My motto sums it up: Accurate books, less stress, more success.
